The reason for doing this is partly to keep subscribers on their toes and paying attention but also to build up a sense of real value in being on your list. You see, if you just keep sending them the usual follow-up messages, they’re going to get bored. They’re going to be starved for more information. As someone who makes a living off of being an information provider, the one thing you don’t want to do is leave your list hungry! You’ve got to satisfy their hunger for more. You’ve got to provide them with as much value as they can handle. This all goes toward building a feeling of goodwill between you and your list. Try to think about where you can fill in information gaps.   What do your subscribers need? What would really help them? Then create this content and give it to them for free.
